Ajah Street transformation Project
The Stella Ihwechi Foundation on the 25th March held a community development program in a slum around the Ajah metropolis of Lagos State. The initiative, which is aimed at repositioning young adults as pacesetters in the community and the country at large, empowered the street young adults on topical issues concerning conflict and financial management.
Having discussed the said topic, Stella Olusami, founder of the Foundation, gave them some key advice on how to save rather than spending their earnings wastefully. As agreed with the young adults, Stella Olusami went to a branch of Zenith Bank to secure account opening forms in order to help them be prudent in their spending as few of them are involved in menial jobs and micro businesses. The goal of the Foundation is to help these young adults become better citizens.
The Stella Ihwechi Foundation (SIF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that seeks to help young adults living on the streets, slums and villages who are between the ages of 18-35 years.
